Toronto police say they have made 32 arrests and laid 158 criminal charges following a nearly year-long investigation into the ‘Jamestown Crips’ street gang.
The Toronto Police Service made the announcement at a news conference on Thursday where they provided details on ‘Project Foxxx.’ The 11-month investigation was intended to disrupt an alleged drug and firearm trafficking network that police say was connected to the gang.
“I am pleased to announce the conclusion of a significant inter provincial firearms and drug investigation into a Toronto street gang that led to 32 arrests and 158 charges being laid over the past 11 months,” Deputy Chief Robert Johnson said at the news conference.
