A man in his 30s was robbed and shot in Winnipeg’s West End while meeting someone for a sale that had been arranged through an online platform, police say.
He was rushed to hospital in critical condition and sustained life-altering injuries. His condition has since been upgraded to stable.
The victim was selling an electronic device on Oct. 11 when he was attacked around 2 p.m. on Maryland Street, between Sargent and Wellington avenues, police said.
