Police in Longueuil, Que., are looking for the parents of a premature newborn baby that was allegedly left at the doorstep of a home late Sunday night.
The 34-week boy was found swaddled in a blanket on the ground, and according to the homeowners, the umbilical cord was still attached. He was taken to hospital and is doing fine, investigators added.
Once identified, investigators say the parents could face charges of child abandonment.
Brayden Jagger-Haines reports.
