CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Five suspects nabbed in Markham jewelry store robbery

On Sat, Jan 25 at approximately 5:30 p.m., York Regional Police with the assistance of air support responded to a jewelry store in the area of Denison St. and Kennedy Rd, for an attempted robbery. Two vehicles fled from the scene and were surrounded and after a brief foot pursuit, five suspects were taken into custody. A replica firearm was seized and a stolen vehicle was recovered. One suspect remains at large.
