A Quebec man is tasting freedom for the first time in more than three decades.
Daniel Jolivet was released from prison on bail last week after spending 33 years behind bars. A judge granted bail after concerns were raised about the fairness of his trial.
The 68-year-old was convicted in 1994 of a quadruple murder that occurred in 1992. He has always maintained his innocence.
He says the biggest surprise since being released is how expensive everything is now.
Dan Spector spoke with Jolivet about what’s he’s experienced so far.
