My film captures the pulse of that unforgettable night outside the SkyDome on Front Street — crowds dancing to bagpipe music, car horns blaring in rhythm, fans waving flags and chanting Blue Jays songs. The usual thrill-seekers even climbed the light poles, their cheers echoing through the downtown core. Despite the chaos, the mood stayed joyous and peaceful. Eventually, mounted police arrived to clear the streets, with one overexcited fan getting a ticket for fireworks. On my quiet subway ride home, the buzz gave way to calm conversations and tired smiles.
